OFUSS is independent, non-religious, non political and non profit organization founded June 23, 2007 in Denmark by a group of intellectuals Somalis who live in Denmark. The organization is a member of the umbrella organization in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, called the Nordic Union of the Somali Peace and Development.

OFUSS is very active both in Denmark and in Somalia. In Denmark, the Society focus on integration and inclusion tasks when we are fully engaged in the integration of young people, communities and organization, organizes cultural events, debates, conferences and meetings.

In Somalia participating organization in the implementation of humanitarian and development projects and peace and confidence building activities such as awareness campaigns and promote social cohesion. OFUSS is a member of the Civil Society in Development (CISU) and DRC Advisory board on Diaspora fund.
